Oscilloscope Visualizers Now Available

We've just added new audio reactive music visualizer templates featuring a brand new oscilloscope visualization, blending classic audio metering with aesthetically pleasing presentation.

This unique oscilloscope visualizer uses special processing to inspect your audio files and display a detailed look into the shape of your waveform. It then stabilizes itself in the oscilloscope display area, resulting in a dynamic and entrancing effect.

You'll be able to see the visualizer in any of the new styles' demo videos on the visualizer browse page, or the video creation pages for the individual templates when creating your own.

Like all the other Tuneform music visualizers, you can customize the color of the displayed waveform when creating your own custom video. Additionally, you can choose to "taper" the waveform, which will pinch the left and right edges of the template to the center of the scope.

Try it out now:

The oscilloscope visualization works really well for a wide variety of musical styles, especially genres with prominent or driving sub-bass presence. However, it also looks great for non-musical audio like spoken word or podcasts. Generally, mono-compatible source audio files will provide the best results, as 2-channel stereo audio is converted to mono prior to analyzing. This is something to be aware of if your source audio is heavily out of phase, especially at lower frequencies.
